For one, training to become a meditation teacher has made me a better meditation student.

More importantly, as a wealth advisor and meditation student/teacher, I can be in a better frame of mind when markets swing wildly or clients feel anxious. Finally, my profile with financial industry regulators has an update to show teaching meditation as a potential “outside business activity.” I have no plans to walk away from my day job, especially if now I can be better for my clients and me.
